Over the Highway in the Mazda to Super G's We Go

The kids and I decided to make a day visit and travel down to Fennimore to visit Grandma and Grandpa Blume.  We had a few things to pick up while we were down there as well.
The kids had a blast riding the scooters, playing with the sidewalk chalk, digging in the garden, blowing bubbles, and most of all a trip to Marsden Park!

What trip to Fennimore could be complete without a stop at the park.
a few spins to make you dizzy, then it's time to play!

"Come on Jo Jo, this way......"

He made the fearless climb to the top, and only made one trip down before realizing just how fast slides can be......

"OOHHHHH.......SH................"

"I think I will stink to the smaller side of the park."

Saffron really enjoyed this section of the park.

Saffron loves the slides, she went down quite a few times.

"Now this is my kind of slide......"

Grandma Jo Jo was very patient with Sebastian while he took his turn going across.

A very cute sibling picture, I only wish they would have gone down at the same time but.....

"YEAH......"

"Oh no you don't Jo Jo, I'm outaa here....."

"Last time Grandma, then it's home for lunch..."

After lunch the kids, Grandma Jo Jo, Grandpa, and I spent the afternoon on the deck blowing bubbles.  The Super G's have some cool ways to blow bubbles.....
we had some laughs, and blew some rather large bubbles!

Me at 35 could not figure this contraption out, but my 4 1/2 yr old did.....

I was able to catch one bubble pop....what a cool effect.....

Who knew a 99cent gallon jug of bubbles could be so much fun!

Till next time....

When you are a child, the sky is the limit on your imagination.  When it comes to expressing that, there's nothing that can stop you.  Here is Saffron and Sebastian's dream home when it comes to thinking ahead on the future, and where they think ahead on their family, and loved ones....

Our families dream home.

A very spacious In-law suite, two king beds will fit in here!
and your own bathroom!

A gourmet kitchen, with colorful appliance, beautiful counter tops, and an imported area rug all the way from Yuma, Arizona!

and a very expensive floor border for that extra flair!

4 bedrooms that fit a queen size bed, very spacious for anyone who like a big wide open room!

A googly eyed map view from space!

and if you don't believe me, ask the little man of the family....

he can sleep just about anywhere, it's so nice!

Ready and waiting for you to move in, no security deposit required!!

Sorry folks, the designers are out cold now....come back later if you want a house built too...

Best Friends For Life

Thinking back to my younger years, I'm sure I had a friend who I held dear to my heart.  I can't recall now her name, but I'm sure we were inseparable.  It's so amazing seeing this through the eyes of my daughter Saffron.  He friend Evan is her world.  They had their first official over night play date this weekend, after weeks of begging the parents to let them.  They played well, and had a blast together....

I hope their true love for each other never dies....

Short Cute

That's right folks....
it's short
and it's
CUTE!

I finally convinced Saffron to get a hair cut, and as much as she wanted to grow it long, like her favorite Princess character Rapunzel,  I figured a nice short hair cut would be perfect for her this Summer.

Ever since Saffron was 1yr old, our dearest friend Catherine has been making house calls to our home, and cutting both Saffron and Sebastian's hair.  It has been quite nice having the kids hair cut in the comfort of our own home.  The kids are more relaxed, and makes it easier on me!  So here we are Saffron 4.5 and Sebastian 2 we set off to Lavender Hair Designs by Catherine D herself!  Saffon was a little (okay a lot) squirmy when Catherine was cutting her hair, so many new things to look at.  Sebastian on the other hand sat very still, and listened to every word that Catherine said.  The kids cuts look adorable, and all the credit goes to Catherine herself.  If you are looking for someone to cut your hair look her up!  So glad to have met her, and looking forward to our next hair cut with her!

 "Hum....ain't this a ladies haven?"

"Ya....I think I will let Saffron go first!"

"Hair goes nothing mom!"

"It will grow back mom, no need to cry!"

Saffron getting pampered by Catherine, and the adult beauty shampoo!

She had a hard time holding her head back...but all in all she did wonderful!

Sebastian stepping in little Saffron curls!

"All my hair is gone mom.....YIKES!"

Sebastian's turn in the hot seat!

Notice his tongue sticking out...he made the mistake of licking the apron and got a mouth full of little hairs...... ewe...........

I hope to get another picture soon of Seb....and while it's a little shorter than it was before, the hair is not in his eyes anymore!

Thanks Catherine!
Kids look wonderful!
