6 Days and Counting.......
By this time 3 years ago, I was very, very miserable and so looking forward to the end of my pregnancy and meeting our daughter to which we'd call
Saffron Viola Blume....
Little did I know that 3yrs later this little one would change my life forever. And as I prepare myself for her turning 3, I think back to the week before she was born.....
I was at this point setting up an induction date, as all the little tricks to get this baby to come out failed. The caster oil, the massages, the scrapping of the membranes, nothing seems to work, and Saffron thus said put. Little did we know that once we set the induction date for the Tuesday after Labor Day, she would come that Saturday morning. A very early Birthday coming into this world at 3:43am. To this day she is still a very early riser. She also came into this world faster than we had imagined. Getting to the hospital on a rainy night, at 2am, my water breaking at 2:50am, and out she comes just less than an hour later..
Little did we know this bundle of joy would change our lives forever.
We love you Saffron Viola, and looking forward to all your Birthdays yet to come!

My soon to be 3yr old
amazing what a few years can do.....

7 months
Time sure has flown by fast, and I feel really bad I missed Sebastian's 6 month post. Time seems to get away from you when you are busy taking care of two kids. I love every waking moment I can spend with them. They keep me busy and on my toes, especially with Sebastian on the move with his crawling.
So very hard to believe that Sebastian is over 7months. Someone asked me today how old he was and I said 6.5 months, only to discover, no.....he's over that....and I think to myself.....Holy Cow!!!
So much has changed since I wrote his 5month post...
Sebastian is still doing well with his baby foods, but now has added other interesting things to the mix....Gerber Puffs, Mashed Bananas, Peas, and Little Pieces of Turkey Dogs. The smile on his face when he can self-feed himself is so amazing. He's so proud of himself, and shakes in anticipation when food is placed in front of him! He Loves to eat, and eats about every 2hrs....he just can't seem to get enough of his good baby food!
Since his last post, he's sitting up, standing up alone (for a few sec only!!), crawling, pulling himself to a stand, and on good days he paces furniture....and I think where did this Big boy come from?!?!?
I also put away the high chair and put him into his own booster seat, he does well in it, and smiles cause he can be just like his Big sister at the table!!
His clothing size has gone into the 12-18month sizes, and at last check of the weight it was over 17lbs. I don't think Sebastian will have any problem at tripling his birth weight by the time he turns 1.
He's getting a little better at sleeping longer stretches but still is not consistent on sleeping all night, but I think this has a lot to do with him teething, something he's not taking well.
As I prepare this blog, and think back to January, just after he was born, and how far he has come, sure makes me smile.....so looking forward to the many months to come...
So, without further delay, here he is...
7month old Sebastian!
"Oh ya.....I'm cute, and I know it!"
One of Sebastian's favorite things to do....
trying to stand up in the middle of the floor.
"Almost..............got...............it...........!"

As always.....Till next post
Happy Growing Sebastian!

When Life Hands You Two Kids, You Disappear
Well, not really............... But, they do so become part of your life, and so your life can really begin.
I have come this far, or so I thought, on doing a great job of trying to write, and keep up with two, mind you two blogs for my kids, and when you don't post for awhile people think something is wrong. Well, nothing is wrong, I just have been so busy with my two kids the blogs just went unattended, and untouched, till now. I decided during the week of setting up for our garage sale I would create a family blog instead of trying to separate the lives of my kids, even though they are two very individual, and two very unique kids. But, the time has come to bring us all together and allow you to read about us as a whole!
More blogs to come, just thought I'd drop a line to introduce you to the new
Life is Only Beginning
"Surprised my mom held out as long as she did by keeping up two blogs. She missed my 6th month milestone.....but that's okay, she does work hard!"
"Things you all may not know......I'm eating solids now....yum yum!"
"Oh, and for the Grandmas, all I want for Saffron's Birthday is to get this tooth to pop through, but I think she wants presents!!!"
"Mommy you should know better than to put us together, all we do is goof off!"
"Ut oh Sebastian, dads home......now we can really be silly.....OH DAD!!!"
Saffron has begun 3yr old Preschool
and she LOVES it!
"Here I am Rhonda! Ready to learn!"
My 1st born turns 3 very soon......
Where have the years gone?
"It's okay mom, I'll still be your Little Princess!"
Tina has climbed into Sebastian new booster seat to snag some leftover treats!
"Tina, behave or else!!"
"More blogs to follow ya'll come back now, ya hear???"
