Happy Halloween

Unlike last year, we now have two little eager trick-or-treaters. I had told Saffron she would get to go with her preschool class today, but she kept insisting her dad take her. We did plan on daddy handing out candy, and I taking the kids out, but Saffron insisted it be her dad. I stayed behind with Sebastian, and handed out candy. He had a blast going to the door and meeting the kids. Here are some pictures I took tonight!

I'm very happy on how Saffron's hair turned out, and even more happy she kept it in all night till she came in for the night!

I wish I could have this much fun with her hair every day....

"I' m ready mom!"

"Mommie and me!!"

And of course we have the shots just for the Grandmas!

"Just my mommie and me!"

Things were no longer fun when Sebastian realized daddy left without him.

"I guess it is better at home....where it's warm!

(these next few are not the greatest, hard to keep a kid steady when they are on a candy run!)

"Come on dad, the nights still young!"

"Happy Halloween"
"Don't be shy ya'll come back and see me again!"

Family Fun Filled Sunday

This Sunday we gathered with family and loved ones and celebrated Edith Ann Nimz's Baptism. We were very honored to be named Godparents by her parents Summer and Reid!
(sorry there are only 2, it was a busy day!)

Proud Godparents!

Family Fun Filled Saturday

This weekend we loaded up the family Mazda with two kids, two dogs, and two parents, and made our way down to Dogeville to help celebrate Grandma Rezabek's 90th Birthday. We had a lot of family gather there to visit with, and in addition, we got to meet the new Nimz addition, Baby Edith. We are very honored to also be named her Godparents in her upcoming Baptism tomorrow!
(another post to follow on that!)

"Don't mind me mommie, just resting before all the fun happens!"

Never to Early to Get Up For a Morning Ride

Nothing like having a good ole pal to give your toys a ride.....

"Grrrr....I guess I won't be jumping up here to sneaky any more Snoopy snacks..."

Silly Saturday

Just as the title says, another day in the life of the Blume kids!

Not very often Saffron will allow her brother in her room. Makes me smile, when they play nice together.

Sebastian having a blast playing with his sister's toys.

Dinner Party

We try and eat as a family, when we can, but not always easy when the kids tummies begin to rumble at 4pm. You can always count on us having extra, uninvited, guests at the table.

Yes, that is Tina trying to get any food scraps she can off of Sebastian's table.

Snoopy on the other hand thinks it's okay to jump into my chair when I get up, waiting ever so patiently to climb onto the table once the yellow try goes on there. He's thinking smart, because there is usually bigger food scraps on there, than underneath Sebastian!

And then there is Saffron who takes in all in stride, making pretty pictures for daddies office!
