2 shots and 23.5lbs later.....

We have a 15month old......

"What??? NO WAY!!!"

It seems like only yesterday I was taking Sebastian to his 1yr well baby visit to the doctor, and today I took him in for his 15month check up. The time seems to be flying by really fast these days. Today he weighed in at 23.5lbs, and I never caught the height, but he's in the 30 percentile. He's right on track. He received two shots today, and while he willing laid down to get them, he knew right away that they were coming. Saffron at first laid next to him, but as soon as Dr. White came into give him the shots, she jumped down and said "No mommy, I don't want to see them hurt Sebastian." She sat in the corner crying right along with Sebastian telling him it was okay to cry, and these shots will help him be happy. The kids got lots of stickers when they were done. (let's just say, I've never seen our car more decked out from the inside as it is now!!)

I guess I can't recall how active Saffron was at this age, maybe it was because we were busy with the move and another baby on the way, but this guy loves nothing more than to run up and down the hall right along side his sister. They do this for hours on end.

He giggles the whole time....
(check out that face!)

Sebastian has gotten really good at climbing onto the furniture, he loves to look out the window along with the dogs and Saffron. They are watching daddy move the lawn here.

He's not afraid at all, and at times even stands up to look out the window, which tends to give me a heart attack.

Saffron and Sebastian's favorite thing to do, is to wrestle each other, (another thing that scares me). They really get into this. They take turns who's being squished, and even though Saffy's only 30lbs I still think she may crush him, even though in turn he can squish her!

Both the kids are doing very well. I started a new job this week working at a family owned delicatessen called Alberici's. It's a very small business only having 2 employees, me and another girl. I love the day time hours I have there. it works out well for our family, cause I can be home with the kids in the morning, and be home by 3pm with them in the afternoon! They plan to move the business into Oregon, WI, in hopes to get more customer flow, I will follow the business when it moves. Looking forward to that later this Summer.

I hope to be able to write a few more posts now that Summer is here and I can be outside more with the kids.

Till next post!
